Hello

I have 2 options in my budget I want to discuss.
I have a BenQ 240Hz 1920x1080 monitor.

Either;

1) GTX 1080 + i7 6700 (not K) + 600W PSU

or

2) GTX1070 + 7700K + 500W PSU (is this enough W to overclock cpu?)

I prioritize fps over graphics. Will only play in 1080p.
Need to be able to have over 240hz. I play DotA2, csgo, Quake Champions, Overwatch. Batman Arkham games.

Which setup is more suitable? Is 1080 overkill?

I'm not familiar with those games, but in general, there is little difference in gaming from one generation CPU to the next, so thebetter video card is my pick.

The gtx 1070 is excellent for 1080p, but the higher fps might make the gtx 1080 more certain of getting what you want.

I would stick with a 600 watt psu, minimum.
