Budget:
[3k]

Expectations:
[High End 4k Gaming]

Code:Configuration: 1766186
So I've been messing around with the configurations quite a bit lately in search of the best $3,000 budget pc build and I'm pretty sure I finally got it right this time. I wanted something as close to a full tower as you guys provide and the velox case seems to fit my needs. I was wondering what your thoughts were as to my build. I'm definitely all ears here! :)

Hi DPS Saboteur,

The Velox is a real nice case with room to work inside. I would change the OS drive (Storage Set No.1) to a larger M.2. Windows takes a lot of space. Also, in that same line of thought, only get the Windows installation disc instead of the 50GB partition. Love your white theme.Awesome
Others with more knowledge will chime in. Enjoy the creating. Big%20Smile

Hi DPS.... Build looks good, but for high end 4k gaming you’ll need an sli, 2x gtx 1080 ti setup, or at least a single 1080 ti for med to high graphics.       The gtx 1080 will game on a 4k screen but settings will have to be tweaked down depending on the game.

I personally would get at least a 500 gb primary drive but up to you of course. The latest Mordor, Shadow of War, is 65gb plus.

I also would add the CD option to the Recovery unless you just burn one yourself.

Hope this helps.

hoserator is up early today and beat me.      What he said, also.

Thanks for the feedback guys, would the windows ten disc matter if I don't have an optical driver? P.S. I did upgrade to the 500gb ssd

OopsForgot the gpus. Luckily bpratt22 had his coffee already.LOL
Don't think you need a specific driver for the cd drive. I believe it's part of the OS.  You do need a special driver to run the Blu-Ray though, if you had that option.

Good point.    No optical drive means I would burn a backup to a flash drive. Still adjusting my thinking to less and less need for optical drives.

   Really Like your Build

My only suggestion would be to take your M.2 To 512mb.

Other than than pretty much perfection as far as parts go

now for Digital Storm to work their sorcery

Please post review with photos..

Going to be smiling so big soon
