I was looking at DS gaming laptops not long ago and saw that one of the four had a 4K resolution. Now, none of them do. I am waiting for one like the Harker (17 inch screen with colored keyboard) to be upgraded to 4K before i buy. Does anyone have information on this?

We're currently not offering 4K displays for our gaming laptops because almost all games won't run well at 4K resolutions on them. You will have to lower graphical settings and it ends up being better to go with a 1080P display for gaming. 4K laptop displays make better sense for content creators.

We'll add a 4K display sometime in the future, not yet. Sorry.

That makes sense, but its easy to lower the resolution to 1080. I had not planned on playing anything in 4K, but i know that it will be very difficult to sell a laptop thats "only" in 1080 when its time to get a new one years down the road. It looks like i'll be waiting for DS to release a 4K 17 inch model.
