Hi everyone!

I'm planning to move my PC on the top of the desk but I noticed the blue light that comes from the window side of my Bolt 3 ( http://imgur.com/a/9Axgv ) it's really annoying if you have it on your face (so if I put my PC next to me on the desk)

Can someone explain me what exactly is that (I was thinking it's a light from the power supply but idk if I'm sure or not) and which is its purpose? And, the most important question, Can I disable it or not?

Thanks in advance!

Some Asus motherboard's have an FX light that illuminates the mobo for effect.  I though it was red, but....

If that's it you can use ASUS AI Suite, mobo software, and turn it off in LED Control panel, or in Bios, Advanced , On-board Devices< SupremeFX.

Your mobo manual will have a procedure..last I looked it was in the Onboard LED section.

Hope this helps.  Big%20Smile

I'm guessing its not the Hydrolux Pro reservoir lighting ?

Just looked at the pic... That looks like one of the system leds to monitor cpu, boot, etc.  Check in the manual under Onboard LEDs,  I don't think those can be toggled off.

Hi bprat22!
Thanks for the answer!

I have an ASRock motherboard so I think it's more probably that it's a system led!

I hope I can toggle it off, I'll check the manuals I have and I'll keep you posted!

looking at the pic again, that led looks too far forward to be the mobo.  Maybe the psu like you said, I'm not sure.

You can place a small piece of black electrical tape over it. Big%20Smile The led's don't heat up.

Put a black tape over it if you can't turn it off. The red light under it never goes on?

Hi bprat22 and hoserato!

Sorry for the delay in the answer! Thanks for the suggestion! I'll do it if I'll move the PC on my desk for sure!
Thanks again! ;)

PS: No, the red light never turned on
