Does anyone know a good fan controller to hook u to my velox easily?

I can control the two noctua fans through fan xpert 3 but cannot control the 6 corsair fans around the case. Fan xpert does not acknowledge them when I do a fan tuning. Just the two noctua. And speedfan seems to not be compatible with my motherboard. Asus z170 pro gaming.

Thanks

Look up your mobo's manual and connect the fans to the header on the mobo and that way you can control it from your fan xpert or from bios.

If the fans are connected directly to the psu, then you can't control them with software or hardware without reconnecting them to something that can.

Yeah, I'm guessing the fans aren't connected to the motherboard. You may need some fan splitters; get a one-to-three and a one-to-two four-pin splitter (three- and four-pin fans should work with them).

Easiest way is to combine what both of us are telling you.

Look at your fans and see if they are 3pin or 4pin connectors, look at your mobo manual/headers and see what kind they are also.

Now get 3 in 1 spliter where you have 3 fans connecting to one mobo header, double check yourself but I believe you should be under 1A draw with all 3 fans in which case one header can handle that.

Once you put them on the mobo header you can now control them via bios or xpert.

some of the higher end Asus boards come with a fan extension card.  you might check in the box of spare parts for it.  you can connect some if not all of your fans to that.

One more question.

My gpu is at 40-44 Celsius at idle. And gets up to 72 max when gaming at maxed out all settings. My gpu fan is set to run at about 75 percent when it hits 70 plus Celsius. At these tempts I really don't need to adjust my other fans too much right? CPU hovers around 30-50 Celsius.

Only temps over 80c are of a concern. If you are under that underload then you are good to go

I use EVGA Precision X16 to run my fans. They are on a 1:1 scale from 0°C to 60°C ... meaning if the temp is 44°C then the fans are running at 44%.

However, after 60°C the fans are moved to 1:2... if I ever get to 80°C they are running 100%.

With HWMonitor I've never seen temps higher than 73°C.

I was using precision x OC and it worked well but the evga precision OC scanner kept randomly popping up and stress testing my gpu. Always popped up after starting the PC from shutdown or sleep and also randomly while playing games and minimizing my game.

So I had went back to mis afterburner.

As much as I like evga and Percision, afterburner is a better software IMHO.
