The reviewers over at Computerbase.de have been testing the performance of Mantle and seeing whether or not it held up to the claims made by AMD. Battlefield 4 was recently patched with support for Mantle and AMD's 14.2 BETA driver was recently seeded to reviewers to see what Mantle was capable of.

Not seeing the 45% increase there. Maybe 15-20%? But that's pretty far off of the "45% better" claim. Looks like they've got some work to do! Or perhaps it depends on configuration? Still a decent boost in performance. I wonder how this compares to the same system running nVidia cards (fps wise).

That is indeed with other hardware configurations.

Once we get our hands on a stable driver, I'll make sure to compare mantle to the other options out there.
