Does anyone else's LED remote just not work? Is it not already programmed to change the tower's LED lights?

I don't have the remote LED , but from past posts, when the remote didn't work, some found re-positioning the sensor inside the case worked. The remote control is low power and needs to point right at the sensor is my understanding. If the internal sensor that the lights plug into is behind the right rear cover maybe position it beside the HDD cages so the remote "sees" it better.
Hope this helps. |

My LED remote works fine for changing colors, but the bottom set of buttons (to customize the colors) don't seem to work.
I do have to point it towards the back of my case, but I assume that's where the sensor resides. |

If you have the LED light strip (which I'm assuming you do), the white 'dongle' piece is the receiver. This needs to be in a position where the remote can 'see it'. I have the Corsair Air 540 case. When I received the PC originally, they had this piece on the side with the PSU and not the window. I couldn't change anything at all. After getting two additional light kits from DS, I finally realized when I was on my 3rd kit that when I had that side's case side off, the light/remote worked. As soon as I put that side on, it didn't. So, I moved the white dongle receiver over to the case window side and I haven't had a problem. As bprat said, the remote is not high powered so it is a bit persnickety getting it to work. Then again, it could be a bad kit. Just my two cents on what happened to me. Good luck and keep us posted!
