My question is, are the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB (ASUS Strix Edition) compatible with the hydrolux cooling system?

Yes they are, we remove the heat-sinks and then liquid cool them. I don't know if we have water blocks in-house yet, but if you place an order, our team can prioritize and get blocks ASAP.

thank you for the quick response. is there much of a difference between the GeForce GTX 980 Ti vs GeForce GTX 980 Ti(ASUS Strix Edition)? aside from the heat-sinks. basically, does it hold anything over the GTX 980 Ti?

they shouldn't be removing the custom pcb, vrm's, high end capacitors, etc.  just removing the custom air cooling from them and putting full cover water blocks on them.  you still get the benefits of higher end components (which contribute to the total performance of the card) with even better cooling under a custom water loop.

i'm pretty sure Titan X water blocks are compatible with GTX 980ti.  check with your custom water cooling provider (EK from the looks of some of your site's pics), Alex.

Only reference GTX 980 Ti will fit the Titan X water block.

The ASUS Strix has a different PCB layout and therefore it will not fit.

Unless it is specifically specified, probably not.

The GTX 980 and 980 Ti have different power delivery.

it seems EK has something in the works for a Strix 980ti, but no ETA.
