Depends what features you need. The Deluxe has WIFI and the A doesn't. The deluxe has more SATA and USB ports, but how many do you need? The Deluxe has one more PCIe x16 slot.
Here's a comparison chart... http://uk.hardware.info/comparisontable/products/245111-241844-257548 Hope this helps a bit. |

Hi giants84,
Here is the main differences between the two boards. The Deluxe has more 3.0 USB ports. The A has more 2.0 USB ports. The Deluxe has 2 LAN ports, the A has one. The deluxe has WiFi and the A has none. The Deluxe supports a Zeon CPU and I don't think the A does. Not sure about that but not important to a gamer. The only real advantage is the WiFi support with the Deluxe. For less than a $100 you can add a WiFi card. Frank |

Thank guys, from what I understand the deluxe has more space for cooling, I wonder if digital storm takes that into account when you upgrade to the deluxe?

DS will use the same cooling for both boards. |

Damn so I guess there is no point of spending that much on the board, instead I can get a bigger SSD or something, since I won't use more than 2 graphics card anyway. So I would think that the standard asus board can handle that right? Thanks again.

Also between the 1000W SilverStone Strider or corsair HX1000i PSU, any advice which to go with? Are these fans worth upgrading Corsair Airflow Performance. Thanks a lot.

Last time I looked, Silverstone psu's had a 3 year warranty and Corsair 7 years.

The Deluxe does have one more X16 slot so you might gain a small amount of space between SLI GPUs. If you are liquid cooling it won't make any difference.

Thanks for the help guys, one more thing is there a difference in sound quality? Also do you guys think the Corsair H110i GT - 280mm Radiator is better than the Digital Storm Vortex 240mm Radiator Liquid CPU Cooler? Also is it even worth going for the HydroLux LITE: Integrated Cooling System for the CPU only?

Hi giants84,
The sound is equal. I think the Corsair H110i GT is a better choice than the DS Vortex cooler. Bigger rad, bigger fans, better warranty. The HydroLux LITE is different than the H110i in the size of the rad/fan. H110i is a 280 and the LITE is a 240. The LITE has the reservoir and pump on the rad. The H110i has the reservoir and pump on the CPU. The H110i has black rubber tubes, the LITE has clear tubes with color coolant available. The biggest difference between the two is the tubing on the LITE is removable like a custom liquid cooling loop. So you can add a GPU to the LITE if you want to down the road. You can't open the loop on the H110i. Only you can say if the increased cost of the LITE is worth it. To me the LITE is the best choice if you might change things around a bit with your cooling. If you just want to cool your CPU and not ever have to check fluids or add a GPU, then the H110i is a good choice. Frank |
