I wanted to try to stray away from the norm with the look since everyone seems to get red, only bummer is i really wanted to use the Strix Cards, but they seem to only come in red. Here's a build to get you started. You didn't mention the monitor/s resolution, but for 1080p and 1440p a single 980Ti should do it.
Config # 1296672 Cost $5403 Chassis Model: Special Deal Hot Seller - Aventum 3 Exterior Finish: Pure White Matte Finish Trim Accents: - Not Available Processor: Intel Core i7 6700K 4.0GHz (Codename Skylake) (Unlocked CPU) (Quad Core) Motherboard: ASUS Z170-A (Intel Z170 Chipset) System Memory: 16GB DDR4 2666MHz Digital Storm Certified Performance Series Power Supply: 850W EVGA SuperNOVA Expansion Bay: - No Thanks Optical Drive: DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW (DVD Writer 8x / CD-Writer 8x) Storage Set 1: 1x SSD PCI-E Card (400GB Intel 750 Series) (NVM Express) (Extreme Performance) Storage Set 2: 1x Storage (1TB Western Digital - Black Edition) Storage Set 3: - No Thanks RAID Config: - No Thanks RAID Card: - No Thanks Internet Access: High Speed Network Port (Supports High-Speed Cable / DSL / Network Connections) Graphics Card(s): 1x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB (Includes PhysX) Sound Card: Integrated Motherboard Audio HPC Processor: - No Thanks Extreme Cooling: H20: HydroLux Level 2: Digital Storm Exotic Custom Cooling System (1x Video Card + CPU + Chipset) H20 Tube Color:White Tubing (Requires Custom HydroLux Liquid Cooling System) Chassis Fans: Standard Factory Chassis Fans Internal Lighting: Digital Storm RGB LED Lighting System (Requires Thermal Management Control Board & Software) Airflow Control: Digital Storm Thermal Management Control Board & Software Chassis Mods: - No Thanks Noise Reduction: - No Thanks LaserMark: - No Thanks Boost Processor: Stage 2: Overclock CPU 4.5GHz to 4.8GHz (Requires High-End Motherboard Selection) Boost Graphics Card(s): - No Thanks, Please do not overclock my video card(s) Boost Memory: - No Thanks, Please do not overclock my memory Boost OS: - No Thanks, Please do not tweak the services on the operating system Windows OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home (64-Bit Edition) Recovery Tools: Windows Recovery Toolkit (Bundled with Windows CD) Virus Protection: FREE: McAfee AntiVirus Plus (1 Year Service Activation Card) (Not Pre-installed) ($35 Value) Office: - No Thanks Game: - No Thanks Display: - No Thanks Surge Shield: - No Thanks Speakers: - No Thanks Keyboard: - No Thanks Mouse: - No Thanks Portable Gaming: - No Thanks Branded Gear: - No Thanks Priority Build: - No Thanks, Ship Within 15-20 Business Days After Order Is Successfully Processed Warranty: Life-time Expert Care with 3 Year Limited Warranty (3 Year Labor & 1 Year Part Replacement) I gave it a white theme since you mentioned no red if possible. You can easily change it around. Kept default storage. Tons of choices there. The 850 watt psu allows another 980ti to be added if needed. Good luck. |

Hi trevor1030,
That is a super build that bprat22 gave you. With a white case you might consider the Signature Hyper-Yellow fluid with clear tubes. I think it would look cool in a White case. Frank |

if you water cool the Strix they will remove the cooling shroud/back plate it comes with and replace it with (your choice) of either: a nickel/acrylic full board water block, or nickel/acetal full board water block and back plates. they get their water blocks from EK: http://site.ekwb.com/ if you want to check your options out.
the clear acrylic water blocks will show the fluid channels, so whichever color you choose will show thru. while the Strix cooling solution is fantastic as an air cooler, you'll be replacing it with a custom water loop config, which should offer at least as good a cooling solution, if not better. you still gain the benefit of the very high end components used in the construction of the card. i believe the profile of the card will also be slimmer, although weight might be about the same. i did this with my recent config/purchase that is still in the build process (sorry can't give you performance metrics yet). DS uses a (i would believe) parallel water loop config with a single powerful pump/large reservoir to cool everything. they haven't posted data on how well the config cools (i've asked). basically, parallel configs maximize the flow rate between the components and are pretty much mandatory on single pump/res configs.
