Looks dang good , but I would make a couple of changes if budget allows.
Change primary drive to the m.2 NVMe 960 Pro. Lots faster. Of course, how fast do you need, but it is the latest. Change cpu cooler from DS to the Corsair H100i. Longer warranty. They both work great, so depends what you can swing. The graphics card depends on the monitor resolution. For 1920x1080 the gtx 1070 is the way to go. Higher resolution might consider the 1070 Ti or gtx 1080. Good luck and stay in touch. Edited by bprat22 - 20 May 2018 at 2:05pm |

That happens to look very much like the setup I received in January. bprat22 has good advice there as usual, but he may not have noticed the Samsung 512 GB M.2 960 Pro is now the 970 PRO...even later and greater. If that's not in the budget, I'd try for the new 970 EVO. As he said, MUCH faster than the SSD 860.
If you get the recommended Corsair H100i cooler, you can save on the Thermal Management Control Board. Corsair has software called LINK you can download easily to control fan speeds and monitor temps. All the best! |

Just noticed it today. Wow, and even faster drive. Pretty soon we'll be getting data loaded just by the blink of an eye.
