I was looking at either getting a lvl 3 Vanquish or if i have to a lvl 4. I was just wondering how well a level 3 could handle crysis 3 on decent graphics, and if it cant than how well a level 4 can. Thanks

The bottom benchmark shows Crysis 3. Adding in the SSD drive plus the overclocking in the level 4 if you can afford it that would be the direction I would go. Although the Level 3 would still be a nice system. |

Thanks, do you think it would be better and/or cheaper to put a Nvidia 770 into a level 3 or just get the original level 4 setup??

The Level 4 Vanquish is a tough system to top value to performance wise. Better CPU, GPU, SSD & better CPU cooler.
Normally we're aiming for about 60fps for smooth on screen action on our displays. The 770 offers about 15-20% increase with Crysis 3 and gets you much closer to the 60fps mark. Tom's Hardware Edited by fstcvc - 18 Oct 2013 at 5:00pm |

Alright, I think I'll go for the level 4. It has a 760 in it (I think) and if it has better everything else it's likely worth it to save the extra $300

The L4 Vanquish has the GTX 770. That upgrade alone is worth ~$200 over the 760 plus the upgraded CPU and addition of the SSD. Can't beat that deal!

More longevity with the Vanquish 4. If budget allows, then worth it.

Great choice. Just to help the decision process here's a comparison between the gtx 760 and 770, Vanquish 3 and 4 cards, and how they perform with various games and monitor resolutions.
Good Luck. |
