So this is weird...
I have two monitors set up, one DVI and the other HDMI to a standard HDMI TV. When I am using Chrome and watching YouTube, if I choose the 1080p HD setting on the youtube player, my HDTV will switch to a green hue. Switch to any other resolution and it's fine, 1080p = green hue. Even if I am watching YouTube in the DVI monitor, the HDTV which will just have my desktop will turn green. So I tried using IE and I don't have any issues doing the exact same thing, seems to only happen in Chrome. Haven't tried Firefox or any other browsers besides Chrome and IE. Thought maybe the card was bad, but when it didn't happen using IE my head exploded. Thoughts? |

That is strange. I use Chrome, I have a 1080p monitor and a smaller 1600x900 and have never seen a green tint. I have had YouTube on the smaller monitor while working on the 1080p and it's never changed colors that I've noticed.
The only thing different is both of my monitors are run off a DVI cable (HDMI without sound). Perhaps its the HDTV?? It is very strange, please keep us informed. |

So, today its doing the green hue thing when I use VLC, meanwhile Youtube 1080p is fine.
I've swapped cables and tried a different TV with same results. I'm thinking the HDMI port on my card is bad. Time to make use of that 5 year warranty! Will DS send me a new card while I still use this one so I can still use my rig and then when I get it I send them the old one? How does that work? |

If DS agrees the card is bad, you have two options......Give them a credit card to put a hold on the cost of a new card and they immediately send out the new card. The hold comes off the credit card when they receive the old card back. Or, send them the old card, then they ship the new one when the old is received.
