Copy game win 7 to 10

Hey all so I have a laptop hdd that was running win 7, and it has games like Diablo 3 on it. If I put them onto a Thumb drive via a usb sata cable and copy them to my win 10 hdd will they run as normal? Or would it be better to do a completely new download from their websites?

If you mean moving the execute program to a thumb drive and re-installing it, then it might work if its Windows 10 compatible.    If you mean dragging the installed files over, then probably won't work due to path issues.  But, tough to say .

So if I run the install file after copying it should make all the needed registry edits correctly?

Diablo, wow, hearthstone all them can simply be copied over to any driver and with the launcher when you have that up and play it will discover the new place and bingo you're done.
