What should my temperature should my CPU be at with intensive gaming? I have it OC at 4.5Ghz and it jump between 52 - 60 degrees Celsius.
Is that fine or does it need more cooling?

Those are good temps nothing to really worry about.
All evil comes from within,
Not from Without,
Therefore, the 1st step on the Holy Warrior path,
Is to recognize thyself as thy 1st enemy.

sorry to piggy back off your forum topic just didn't want to make a new thread with the same type of question. I just got my new pc about a week ago and have had some watch dog crashes, with using the forums and everything I have corrected that problem now I'm just trying to walk my OC settings back up. In any case right now I'm sitting at about the same temp as above with between 15-30% cpu usage. Does that also sound about right or just I roll it back a bit.

Check the temps under load, like gaming or Windows Experience Index.   I never watch cpu usage so have no reference but temps anywhere in the 60's is perfectly fine.    Even low 70's is fine.      Stress it with Prime95 or any other cpu stress test utility. Or just use your most intense program.

Good luck.

Care to share the rig you grabbed?

sure heres my rig:
Asus Sabertooth x79
i7 3930k 3.2(arrived clocked at 4.6 but was haveing local watchdog time outs bsods)
2x 7970 3gb (went radeon because of bad experiences with a couple of 680s, but i think i am going to end up eating my words on that one. Having troubles with crashes now from my gpu, with the small amount of web searching I've done it could just be driver issues being temperamental with programs I run.)
16gb ddr3
stage 3 frost chill cooling system cpu only (with extra video card case fan and upgraded to led performance fans)
120 gb corsair neutron (os obviously)
1 TB western digital cavalar
Sadly one of i feel my biggest my mistakes with my new rig is getting fooled into choosing to go with windows 8, I have hated almost every second of it.

Also, back to temps. Running prime95 for about 10 or 12 mins I start to creep into the mid and occasional upper 80s. clock settings as of right now set at 4.4ghz and 1.392 v( Right now sitting idle all of them at 47-50. Also have been running the computer for close to 5 or 6 hours straight so I feel some of my temps maybe a bit inflated.) since talking about my rig if any one has some tips or some benchmarks on how to optimize my gpu's for crossfireX, would be greatly appreciated.

I feel like with my rig I should be getting more cooling out of things but I could be wrong. This is my first build with liquid cooling so I do not know the normalcy of it.

Nice rig.  Congrats. Awesome

As for temps, high 80's to me is too high, but Prime 95 is heavy stressing.

The stage 3 cooling would not have been my pick for the  6 core 3930k chip oc's to stage 2.   It's only a 120mm rad.   Stage 4 or the Vortex 240 with the larger rad would've been better.   But. its done so we move on.  I would call DS and have them help lower the vcore to bring temps down.  OC will drop a bit but you'll prbably never notice.

AMD does have its share of driver issues, that's why we usually recommend the Nvidia.  But new drivers at some point should fix it.

Hope this helps.  Call DS and run the temps past them.
