So ordering time has arrived & I am going to order sometime between now to Nov. 7. Of course I have the terrible decision if choosing between 3 amazing computers and whether or not I will get an AIO or Noctua air coolers.
Thus I want the opinion of you people, giving advice to me, a(former) computer pleb, on what amazing selection of hardware I will order from digital storm. My main needs are 1440p gaming at 60 hertz/fps with reasonable auditory output(a little on the quieter side) and good thermals in an house that ranges between 70 - 80 degs(F) depending on how much I want to spend on electricity. Here are the base tickets: Air 540: 1309458 Slade: 1309459 Apollo: 1309455 Let me know on any hardware preferences and changes you would have me make before I order. |

My vote is the Air 540 with Noctua. The Air 540 is one of my favorites at the moment and its front fans are real close to the mobo/gpu for excellent cooling.
Noctua works just as well as the AIO and is quieter and reliability is tops. They just work without any worries for years. I would swap the Silverstone for the Corsair HX1000i. 3 year vs 7 year warranty last I checked. Tells you what the manufacturer thinks of its own product. Can't go wrong with any of the choices above. |

Air 540 with the corsair cooler, as it looks cleaner imo without the bulky cooler

I just ordered my new computer, 540 case with Noctua cooler. 2 of my 3 systems ordered from DS have had the noctua cooler, can barely tell they are running.

Plus the Huge Noctua looks great. Others disagree, hence vanilla and chocolate ice cream as Snaike will remind us.

Solid. Gonna order tonight, or tomorrow morning depending upon homework and monitor research. I know this is not the right part of the forum for this question but do you guys have any recommended 1440p monitors?
