What a ridiculous service. I wait almost a month in build and shipping times and my computer (Vanquish 5 level 1) comes unfinished after their "six stages" of "testing" that they do. The computer comes to me with a fan not even connected and the thermal paste coming off to the point where it's sliding around the inside of the case.
I'm mad and am sure to never buy from this company again, but I need help putting the thermal paste onto the back of the CPU, how can I connect this without further screwing it up? |

Last I heard, the CPU cooler is the Cnps5x if you want to watch a YouTube video on its installation. Basically, the paste needs to be a thin film covering the CPU surface, any excess wiped from the sides if it smeared. You might need to get a tube of new paste. Then it's mounting the cooler by loosening the base screws, hooking them on the motherboard plastic ring tabs and tightening the two screws as the cooler sits on the chip.
My guess is that shipping jolts dislodged the cooler. No way it left DS like that. The box can look great and still have damage if it was dropped flat. Call DS . They will help. |

Call DS. They'll get it beak to where it was when out left the shop.
Very few computers are shipped with the problems you noticed... which sounds exactly like shipping damage. |

Hi EthanFoxy,
Sorry to hear about your experience. I assure you that the system did not leave in that condition, nor was it sent "un-finished" either. There is no way our QA team would allow that. It appears your CPU cooler has dislodged during shipping. This is rare to occur. Our team is more than happy to do what is needed to get you up and running. Please contact them ASAP. Also, please see image below, this is your system in QA with the cooler fully attached. Edited by Alex - 22 Nov 2016 at 12:23pm |
