Now it just keeps getting worse and worse. Now my digital storm vanquish 5 keeps shunting it self down without any warnings or alerts. Which i then have to turn the desktop manually,
I expected this vanquish to last at least four if not five years. From blue screen of death to this now. I dont know what to do. |

Sorry to hear. You need to get DS on the phone to help troubleshoot the problem.
It could be a bad power supply, bad ram.... Nobody wants it to be them, but any part can fail at any time. If the psu dies, DS didn't make the unit, just installed it, tested it and shipped it. Have you tried any troubleshooting, like checking all connections to mobo, drives, trying one ram stick at a time ? If it's just a bad part they can send you one to swap out. Good luck and let us know. |

Sorry you are having issues. You should file a Support ticket with DS but in the meantime some here might be able to narrow down what is the problem. The information you provide will help the diagnosis.
Which V5 do you have and what type of cooling? What do you mean by "shunting" down? Do you have sleep or hibernate on? Have you monitored temperatures? (Use HWMonitor) This will help in figuring if it is hardware or software related. bpratt22 beat me to it while I was trying to write coherently Edited by hoserator - 25 Apr 2017 at 2:39am |
