I was wondering if I will need to d/l and install system monitoring software to check on fan operation and temps, or whether the PC (a Slade) will come with such a utility pre-loaded. Thank you!

They don't but you can easily get them. All you really need is a program called "Hardware Monitor" (http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/1.24-setup.exe).

Thanks, Alex, I'm going to d/l that to my data key so that I can install it on the new machine before I connect it to the Internet.
(I'm so glad you are still here, you were very helpful with a few issues pertaining to my last DS machine). |
