Topic: Fans Not Responding to HydroLux Client Posted: 16 Nov 2015 at 12:55pm |
Ive had my Bolt 3 for about 2 weeks now so it pretty brand spankin new. I love everything about it, my only issue is that one day I opened my HydroLux Control Center to change my fan speeds to auto. Then I went to the bottom of the client to tweak the speeds even more with the fine tuning. Now no matter what I click or move the fans are not responding to the client at all, they are stuck in a medium/extreme speed which is not ideal when doing anything other than gaming :/
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Assuming you don't have a bad board, I would download and reinstall the software. I believe the link is in Support at top of page, My Account.
After that, give DS a shout. Good luck. |

I've just tried that and I am still having the same issue. I guess I'll have to give them a call.
Thanks for the quick response :) Edited by Max_Hutch - 16 Nov 2015 at 1:31pm |

I believe it interfaces through usb hub. Try unplugging anything in a usb to see if there's any conflicts.

@Max_Hutch,
Here's what I suggest you try to calibrate the fans: (1) Open the software (2) Set airflow mode to "Quiet" (3) Adjust the two slider bars at the bottom (keep both at the same levels) until the fans are very quiet but still on. That's it! You're all set. If you pick "Extreme" the fans will go full speed, and "Quiet" will go to the speed you set. If you select "Auto" the system will automatically adjust the speed of the fans based on your thermal temps. Let me know how that works for you. Feel free to email me for further help "[email protected]" thanks! |

Hi Alex, Im not sure you quite understood what I meant. The fans are completely unresponsive to anything I tell them to do in the software. Whether I choose "Quiet" or "Extreme" and move the sliders either way the fans make no change in speed. The are stuck on a certain setting. |

Let's work via email. We may just have to send you a replacement control board.
Does the LED lighting color options work? |
