Expectations:
[I want to run things like Minecraft, DayZ, H1Z1, Oblivion, etc HIGHEST SETTINGS 0 LAG/ZERO FRAME DROP.Will be live streaming to twitch while playing games like this so keep that in mind. Upload speed is around 4mb/s]

Usage:
[Will be using for a plethora of Steam Games like the ones I listed above, also I am a huge video editor so I need to be able to render HD videos very fast and have 0 lag when editing and previewing video. Also I will be running this computer on 2 24" BenQ rl2455hm monitors.]

Special Needs:
[Budget is 2k but if you think I don't need to spend that much for what I plan on doing by all means tell me. ]

You can change the chassis to your preference. This should be the best system for your needs for the budget. BTW, with the special offer, if you add $35 of options to this, it'll only cost you $10 more...if you need an ODD, add one; or upgrade the SSD to the 250GB model for more space and performance.

Looks brilliant, is there a big difference in performance between the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB and the 980?

The 980 have maybe a 10% performance advantage over the 970, but costs a bit more. Up to you whether it is worth it or not. Dual 970's in SLI would be a better deal, still.

Search for benchmarks of the games you want to check online and compare how 970's and 980's perform.
