Just voted for .... There's A Storm Brewing...Performance-Reliability-Service.

Still Like ( There's A Storm Brewing.......Performance + Reliability + Service = Digital Storm (Custom Systems).  I think the + and = signs make for a more decisive statement.  Just my 2 cents.

that storm analogy sounds silly to me and makes me think of some old  southern dude sitting in a rocking chair commenting on the current meteorological conditions....and coffee.  I think the +/= thing looks weird too.  If you want decisiveness instead do it like this.

                            Performance.
                              Reliability.
                               Service.
                            Digital Storm.

the first three words would be in white and the Digital Storm would be the same as your left hand header black and red.

I'm afraid I wouldn't wear any of these.

I think you should just stick with the logo and the phrase, "Performance-Reliability-Service"...

Ya.. I wouldn't wear any of those.

The design is going to be too cluttered, you're trying to say too much. Just stick with one line.

And for listing, I think bullets are a lot better than + or -.

#1 is ok, but it really doesn't work other than the cute play on Storm.

#3 just really doesn't make any sense together.

Our Obsession.... Unrivaled Performance, Reliability and Customer Service is what the company stands for and is in their own Mission Statement.  Seems to me the only choice of the three.

For those of you saying you wouldn't wear any of them... would you wear any company's marketing on a shirt??

#2 clearly states what Digital Storm is all about and the reasons people buy from than rather than anybody else.

I definitely see what you mean skyR, it would seem too cluttered. We are talking about a T-shirt here... not a print AD.

I think, having something fun like "There's A Storm Brewing" on the back of the shirt with the big DS Logo would be great? If we did state performance, reliability, service, then it sounds like a big marketing shirt which I know would turn away many people... (K.I.S.S. = Keep it simple stupid).

What are you thoughts guys?

I played around a little bit with some ideas to try and encircle the logo with some text over the left breast, and tbh, it's still somewhat "busy" and detracts from the logo.

Logo, one catch phrase, "There's a Storm Brewing" works, maybe like with the stylized hurricane logo serving as the "S" in "Storm" to increase the brand recognition.

Absolutely, I have lots of logo'd T-shirts. Most of them are tasteful statements of company affiliation, some are walking bill boards. Shirts should either be dignified or way over the top with eye-grabbing graphics. IMHO, these ideas sound like they'll fall flat in the middle.

In my opinion, why not make a collared shirt that looks nice with a tasteful statement on it?  Most companies just do T Shirts, stand out :P

Yeah it would prob cost all of 4 dollars more but it'd be so much nicer.

I actually never seen a t-shirt from a company that has more than just a logo and a one line slogan under it. (eg. Intel, AMD, Nvidia, ...) And yes I would wear a t-shirt from them.

Eye-grabbing graphics is different from a wall of text =x

It would be great if someone can make samples with photoshop or other software.

I see nothing wrong with a marketing style T-Shirt.  Marketing is key for any company trying to make it today.  Very simple

Catch Phrase

dso logo

Misson statment

Thats it folks.....doesnt have to be cluttered.

I can understand DS needs to represent their company, but I honestly wouldn't wear a shirt that had a lot of text on it.

I'm part of a younger crowd also, so that may have some effect on my interests here.

Anyways,  I was thinking a white shirt with a middle-sized DS logo on the front would be cool.. maybe even with "customized systems" along the side of it, or along the bottom.

The words digital storm as the main feature of the shirt kind of turns me off on it.  It's not that I mind representing PC companies, just as a general rule, I wear things that are more modest I guess.

Just my opinion, hope it helps DS.

I think I'd go with the first choice. I like the mystery behind the ad, and it gets out what the company is about.

(Front)
You could have a picture of, say an Extreme case PC, on a TV with a Weather W in the top left corner of the TV. Below the TV it could read, "There's a Storm Brewing" if that's the tag that is chosen. Spices up the shirt I think.

(Back)

Can I have a job? Wink

Its not generic at all. Its not just about gaming. The whole thing reads digital storm gaming systems meaning that should you chose to game it will be able to handle whatever game you need. COD4, Crysis, BioShock, HL2,UT3 etc etc. I know a lot of people won't need to game and if thats the case they will still know that their system is powerful enough should they ever try.

Just try digital storm...no slogan needed on the back of a shirt ill buy 10 and they will all be for work Star

I felt the other three options was just too much. No slogan needed though, says enough about it all it's simple and to the point...ya know.

All three of those are very tacky.

DIGITALSTORM
CUSTOMIZED SYSTEMS

On the breast pocket and a large DS logo on the back would be great.

That storm brewing nonsense is just silly LOL

Also, the shirt would have to be gray.

*edit*

The shade of gray in Alex's av, not that hideous gray threaded with white you normally see on tshirts.

Yeah, I'm a much bigger fan of a simplistic logo than I am of some forced, tacky "catch phrase."  The DS "S" symbol is very clean looking and would be great on a shirt.  I would go with the above poster.

simple does sound good.  The DS "lightning looking" logo would look great on the shirt....center front and back maybe in different sizes (front small upper center chest, and back, large with DIGITAL STORM written across the shoulder blades)  It'd be a conversation piece, and the DS "bolts" look really cool.Lamp

I agree.  Clap

I'm thinking of taking the old and play around with it.

Digital Storm operates by three words:

performance, support, and value.

I'm thinking something with PSV and explain why these three words are very important.

I was curious about this whole t-shirt thread, did the idea die in committee or is there a plan to make up shirts that can be ordered/given away with PCs at some point?

Plain and simple would be perfect. I don't like shirts that have a lot of text on them. It's also easier for people to see when there's not much text on it.
