My New Slade - Low Profile Powerhouse

This is first time I've ever bought a custom PC rather than having built it myself.
I spent a great deal of time researching various companies, and Digital Storm fit the bill.

Thoughts and Opinions:

The shipping time from day one of the process was accurate and I was always kept updated with what stage my system was in and what to expect next.

As we've come to expect, the system was shipped professionally, arriving safely and ready to do work.

I figured this time I was going to go with a more "sleeper" build of a PC. No flashy lights, no brightly colored anything. I just wanted a sleek, black, windowless case to house my new powerhouse of a system.

I bought the PC for gaming and streaming. I was slightly concerned about only using 16GB of RAM, but this was not at all in issue. Even while playing PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and streaming simultaneously.

The 8th gen i7 CPUs are insane, I went with the 8700K which Digital Storm was able to overclock to 4.88Ghz. Nothing I've been able to throw at it even makes it hiccup, let alone bog down. I'm extremely satisfied with the new architecture Intel has rolled out.

The Corsair 600Q case is sleek and quiet, even under a full load with the fans cranked, this thing didn't exceed a modest hum. Even the Digital Storm badging added to the front of the case is a nice touch without being over the top. The inside of the case is roomy and the assembly extremely clean. The cable management and placement of everything is perfect. As soon as I got the PC opened up, I installed my network PCI-e card and capture card. Everything fit without a hitch, and after going through the dreaded download/update phase we all experience with a new PC, I was shredding through my games rendered beautifully and with a steady, high-rate FPS.

I've been extremely happy with all the service from Digital Storm. Everything was clean, professional, and delivered as promised.

You've earned a customer for life.

It really does, I was surprised to see how they sandwiched it between four fans. That's not a setup I'd have considered before. My CPU stays nice and cool even under a heavy load.
