I see DS is offering G-SYNC upgrade for monitors and also monitors with G-SYNC already installed. My question is if I get a G-SYNC display do I simply swap out monitors and ready to roll or is some other thing that will need to be done?

I believe G-Sync is monitor based, meaning it syncs input frames from the GeForce card to eliminate tearing. As long as you have a GeForce gtx 650ti boost or better, it works. Monitors normally refresh at a static rate and can conflict with refreshes from the video card. G-Sync matches what the card sends it. No mods to the video card needed, if I understand it correctly.

Monitor change is all that is needed, with GeForce card.

I just put in my order with DS for the ASUS VG248QE with G-Sync conversion. That's a top of the line monitor and I can't go wrong with DS quality techs so in my opinion the funds are wisely spent with DS.

Let us know what you think once G-Sync is up and running! All the tech journalists who've seen it demonstrated are raving about G-Sync, but there's no substitute for actual user experience.

Ok Counsel will do. I was planning on doing that and I'll have to put aside my WOW mode when playing and take notes for a review lol.
