Budget:
[$2235.00] Expectations: [A good system for gaming?] Usage: [Gaming. . oh yes.. gaming] Special Needs: [Hmm..nothing I can think of] Saved Ticket #: [N/A] Specifications: [Well I just configured a build. I think it will do well. Here is my saved configuration: Digital Storm Saved Configuration 1830702. Keep in mind this will be the first package computer I might buy. I am used to building my own gaming rigs, but I have heard great things about Digital Storm. Normally I'd not have to purchase a system, but my prior system was stolen due to a burglary. So I am looking forward to gaming on PC again. |

Which monitor resolution will you be using?
The config folks who run around here want you to get the best for your rig, but they need to know what you'll be using for a monitor. Higher end monitors (4k) require better GPUs. If you're gaming with 1080p, etc, you don't need all the best stuff to get the best performance. So, let them know which monitor and watch them go to work. btw, welcome to DS!! Snaike is right, the resolution of your monitor is the key. But aside from that, you might look at the Vanquish level 4. It's practically your build to a tee for $400 less. It's a pre-built, so you can't change anything.
The air cooler will perform better than the AIO you picked. |

I’m not sure which resolution. I do have a Sony Bravia 4K HDR 55”, Buy I also have a ASUS vg248qe 24” monitor with the GSync upgrade installed. Prior to my computer being stolen, this is what I gamed in because I liked the 144hz. So I’m torn between 2k gaming or 1080p gaming.

The gtx 1070 Ti card is very good for your 1080p monitor. Your config will run it no problem.
I agree with Cretae and just get the Vanquish level 4 for hundreds less. The same pc for the most part. If you wanted to up the power supply or use a different SSD, etc then the custom Lumos is the right pick, but better changes up the cost. |

Thanks everyone. I actually preferred gaming on the GSync monitor compared to the 4K. I know it’s onky 1080p, but I love that 144hz.
I’ll take a look at the vanquish. I just want to make sure I can upgrade to an 1080 or Volta. If so, then I’ll probably upgrade the power supply. My stolen system was running 850w.. with 2 GTX 970s This time around I opted to not do SLI. |

Okay so here is the vanquish I chose. This should be good for my 1080p GSync

SolarWardenGaming for the win! Look at all those saved bucks. I think you made a good choice considering the parts you preferred to choose for your own build.
