I'm thinking of getting a Vanquish 7 level 1 as my first gaming PC. I don't have much money to spend on a PC, and I'm fine with low/average performance until I can afford a better one.
The only problem is that I don't know anything whatsoever about setting up a PC. I've had a Mac hand-me-down my entire life and am now venturing into a world I know near nothing about. I don't know if it comes with a monitor, what other components I might need, or how to set it all up. My question is: What do I need to know just to get it going? I don't need to learn about what each and every component does, I just need to know what I need to get the job done. Thanks in advance. |

The Vanquish is just the computer. You’ll need a monitor, mouse, keyboard also. It also doesn’t WIFI without adding a WIFI usb dongle. It does have LAN port for hardware to the internet.
Good luck. |

If you want sound, you will also need speakers or headphone. Enjoy and welcome.

For economy's sake you can get a capable keyboard, mouse and speakers for under $100 total. A 24" monitor will probably be an economical size to look for. Check Best Buy if you have one for what you like, and then look on Amazon or Newegg for better pricing/deals.
