GPU heat?

Can I hijack this thread to ask about the temperature on those cards?

In the day I had a video card get pretty warm running just two 1080 monitors.
The temperature didn't concern me as much as the sound of the fans needed to cool it off when it went under a full load.

Wont one card(in SLI) running THREE 4k monitors in a case that traps in heat cause seriously high temperatures which in turn will cause the fans to run much harder?

Or have they fixed that these days?

I think it's going to depend on what he's doing with the other monitors. Those two monster processors sharing the load aren't going to strain too hard with the games he's talking. (EVE, PUBG, Skyrim, Fallout)There should be a ton of power left over. It's what he's going to do besides that will tell whether the cards get stressed enough to go all "turbo jet".

The case (Slade) is designed to not trap much heat, but it remains to be seen how quiet it'll be if the cards spin up.
