My AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB just died. Any suggestions for a new card? Motherboard is a ASUS M5A97 (AMD 970 Chipset) (SATA 6 and USB 3.0) (Socket AM3+) Thanks :D

im looking at the Asus Radeon HD 7770 2GB as a replacement right now. what are your thoughts about that?

it really depends on your budget and if you have enough psu to handle a better/more power hungry upgrade to another GDDR5 card.  an R9 270X 2GB (if you want to stick with AMD) would be a better upgrade (it's about 4 tiers higher on Tom's hierarchy chart if it matters), more streaming processors and bigger memory interface, and is compatible with your mobo.
