I know that the hybrid kits are out so I assume the 1080 hybrid release is coming very soon. I know for sure they will sell out quickly so any idea if digital storm will have some reserved exclusively for them on release date? I am pretty much waiting for the hybrid before I purchase my computer.

Why hybrid? it does not have the performance of a good cooler or a proper lc setup.

What else would you recommend other than hybrid then? Keep in mind im not going for open loop liquid cooling route and i dont want thermal throttling.

A closed loop, is not gonna give you what you want, an lc system is only as good as its rad and block, and I can assure you that the little rad and cheap block are not gonna give you that much better temps then air.
You need to pic if you want a high oc, if so and you don't want heat problems then you need lc on gpu, otherwise I'm thinking a acx 3.0 will do the same as a hybrid. IF you don't want a high oc then just get the nvidia acx 3.0 they have here that one is already super clocked. Edited by DST4ME - 09 Jul 2016 at 1:55pm |
