I'm new to customizing a PC is there anything in here that I should upgrade to work better with anything else? Any ideas or tips is much appreciated!

Build looks good. However, without knowing what it’s used for or what games and the monitor resolution, we can’t know what video card or cpu is best.

What bp said.

Not a good idea to overcook your video card. Basically won't matter much but will stress the card and raise temps.

I'm using it for gaming. I switched it up and already ordered it. I play all types of games I just wanted to switch from console to pc. Here is what I ordered though and I hope I didn't mess it up lol. I can get a new monitor or upgrade whatever I need to just let me know and thanks!

Looks good and Congrats

For 4K gaming, the gtx 1080 Ti in your original build is the recommended.    

There is a chance the gtx 1080 on backorder will not be filled. The card, from what I’ve read, has stopped production because of the newer Ampere gtx 2080/2070, tentative name, will be released end of March.
