How does this compare to the Enthusiast 2 pre-build? I have read several people here who say to either use the Noctua or Frostbite cooling so that issue concerns me. DST4ME seems to be extremely knowledgeable so I have been reading all he has to say. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

to play at high settings in that game you will need 2 GPUs.

that will put you over the budget, you will be around $2400

Is there really that much difference in the eye candy between the 1600x..... resolution and 1920x.... resolution?

The primary gaming use of this cpu will be WoW. I thought I read you state that WoW doesn't support SLI but I could be mistaken. The monitor itself was a gift, and I really don't need the resolution to be at max. That being said, is there any way you could help me with my configuration? Is what I have ok or should I go with the Enthusiast 1 pre-build? I really don't want to go over my $2k maximum budget. Any help would be much appreciated.

well you could get that, it should play wow ok, 275 is the fastest single gpu card.
but playing anything else at your native resolution might be slow at high settings. depends on the game

Thank you very much for your help DST4ME. You rock. I noticed that you changed the motherboard from my configuration, and I was wondering if you could explain to me the differences between them and what benefit there is to upgrading from the XFX motherboard? Is that just a bad one? What makes the EVGA better than the Asus or the XFX?
I was thinking of going with the enthusiast 2 as per your recommendation but it looks like that will be out of stock by the time I type this. If they re-stock it, I might go for that, but I know you said the liquid cooling on it is not good and that it is not a good choice if I want to grow the pc. I was thinking of maybe adding another video card for SLI in the future. Is that not possible with the enthusiast 2? What makes it not good for future growth?
Thanks again for you help. Sorry for all the questions. I'm just trying to understand as much as I can before I make my purchase.

the evga has a better track record and lately some of the techs have not been very happy with xfx, the evga also has more pci slots so you can have more components if you wanted.

the LC on the enthusiast 2 is good, its just not as good as frostbite, but its good.

the reason you can't grow with it is because it has a 285 gtx and a 750w psu, to run 2 x 285 with a 750w psu is not the best idea, but you can run 2 x 275 with it just fine. also it has a micro mobo which means that 2 gpus will leave you with not more free pci slots for anything else.
