Its up to you how you setup your dual os, do you prefer them on the same drive or separate ones? I like to keep mine separate, but they are hotswaped and not in the system at the same time.
Vanquish Click Image To Go To Configuration Page Bit of info: 1. Do not install Mcafee , instead get a lighter better anti virus like ESET ( number 3 on the list ) Or any other good light Anti Virus will do. 2. With extra fans request that DS changes all case fans and connects all your fans to the mobo so you can control them via free software. This way we can control the fans without needing anything else (aka fan controller and etc). Also be sure to pick the color of the ring you wan the fans to have (red/blu/white). 3. The warranty here is 3 year labor and 1 year parts so if you want higher part warranty be sure to raise the warranty level to the desired level. Edited by DST4ME - 11 Sep 2016 at 12:16pm |

i have all ways had 2 os on same hard drive and since this is a new computer i wanted to use 2 separated hard drives for the os. so to do this i need to add a hot swap bay for the ssd hardrive? and the third hard drive for storage. |

I recommend the apollo build for better cpu cooling, psu, case and mobo.
For dual drive you can do hotswap making it very easy. The hailstorm II comes with hotswap bays but its way more expensive and will take the budget way too high. Now keep in mind, if you plan on having dual ssd drives for OS-s and one hdd for storage, with a hotswap bay, this is what you are looking at: you don't want to keep both drives connected so at any time one ssd is in the hotswap and then you have one bay for the dvd drive and the third bay you will have the storage drive. Now keep in mind storage drive can be an hdd that you put in an external enclosure. In other words storage drives can be internal or external you are not married to one. |
