I could use some suggestions on gaming headsets. I'd prefer a bluetooth setup, but I'd consider a killer wired setup too.

The use case is for my new Kryton (which is getting better and better) when I'm on the road. A solid setup will be great on gaming as well on skype and conference calls, web meetings, etc.

Stretch goals are something I can also use with my phone, iphone, ps3 and xbox360 setup.

So far I've been looking at the turtle beach z300, px51, and px510. I also looked at the sennheiser 363.

anyone have an idea for me?

I use the pdp afterglow prismatic headset for pc and ps3, i recommend them although it might not go well with skype and conference calls and web meetings.

Unfortunately i'm no help in this department. If you are looking for a pair of good headphones though, I recommend the Audio Technica M50 and you can add a ModMic.

When i use them on the PC i get a clicking noise, to prevent me from hearing it i just turn the chat/game volume up to the chat side little by little until i can't hear it anymore. But when i use it on the ps3 i don't hear it at all. i have tried the mic when i was playing on tf2 and i asked everyone if they could hear me and they said yes. So not sure if you got a defect or what.

I have the xp510s I love the voice and Bluetooth with them. I can switch from my iPhone to laptop to iPad with just the press of 1 button there easy to use. I drive big rigs cross country so I use these things all the time I love the crispness of them for talking with friends and wife but music just does not have the range or base that I was looking for. If they had a stronger base for rock and techno they would be the best ever but it just lacks there. If you are looking for something to use on are new kryptons and then switch to iPhone with the press of a button grab a pair just don't expect to get Bose quality sound for music but audio books and voice is the best . They also have the feature that if a call comes in they will mute your game and ring for your phone press a button and answer with put ever touching your phone . I could not find my phone 1 day but I still answered and made calls. Hope this helps

Sorry for any mistakes written on my iPhone.

Yeah, I tried the 510s and xp7 but never could get them to work properly on he laptop. Right now I have beats studio wireless and not having trouble yet. I can't use them with xbox, but I'll live. They are mainly for travel and work anyway.
