Hi SnuffyBear... Welcome to the forums. That build looks good, but without knowing the monitor and its resolution, we can't make any recommendations on the graphics card. If its a 1080p screen then the gtx 1060 will play very good, but some of the more demanding games will need the graphics toned down.
If its a 1440p screen, then the gtx 1070 would be the minmum. A lot depends on the screen, games and what settings you want. |

Thanks for your reply and you are correct I completely forgot about the monitor.
Unfortunately my monitor blew out and I'm using a HDTV as a temp screen. At the moment a 1080p screen seems fine but you never know, so I'll take your advice and go with a gtx 1070. p.s. I'm not sure you can answer this but maybe you can point in the right direction. OK the question is, would it possible for extra sata cables to be installed so it would make it easier for me to add (internally) any spare HDD I have laying around ? |

Ooops, this is what happens when you get old.
I just thought about it 1 sata port for the optical drive, 3 assigned to the 2 ssd and 1 Hdd, and 1 to the e-z dock. I guess that leaves one port free . |

I believe that all available sata in the mobo is wired for ease of addition. At least it is on mine. Confirm when ordering or add as extra at that time or in the comments section if not by phone.
