So I ordered the default apollo build, but I'm relatively confused about something:
How is the graphics card cooled? I know that there's a cpu cooler for liquid cooling, but is the Graphics Card (a GTX 1070) also watercooled or is it just aircooled? If so, how does the graphics card stay at a reasonable temperature and should I worry that it's being air cooled? |

The two fans in the front of the case push air towards the graphics card. It will be fine air cooled.

The gpu if on air has its own fan that is mainly responsible for your cooling. If you picked lc for both cpu and gpu then they will be both cooled with lc. Otherwise the cpu on air will have an air cooler on it and the gpu will have its own fans cooling it. Your case's fans are responsible for case airflow and not gpu cooling but more airlow helps to move the hot air out of your case and that will help a little with temp of all parts. But to answer your question, the gpu has its own fan/s that are responsible for cooling it. And below you see the evga with acx 2 fan cooling: Edited by DST4ME - 24 Jul 2016 at 9:18pm |
