Hydrolux Liquid Cooling Leak

Hi All,

Just wanted to get advice from the forums even though I have submitted a support email to Tech Support. I was gaming as usual on my Velox when I heard gurgling coming from the liquid cooling reservoir and noticed system performance slowness. When I went to inspect the system, I noticed that liquid was leaking out of the tower. I immediately shutdown my system and unplugged it, and noted that liquid appears to be leaking out from somewhere around the CPU down to the power supply. I cleaned up the liquid and tried to find the exact location of the leak (tubes, the connections between the tubes and the hardware), but could not find the leak. Luckily, I am still under warranty and hope that technical support can provide assistance with fixing the issue.

My question is: If my system wasn't under warranty, how would I go about fixing the leak (as mentioned previously I was not able to find the exact location of leak)? Also, what would be a good process for locating the leak when not immediately apparent?

TL;DR - My liquid cooling leaked, how do I identify and fix?

Soft Line system, I do not see any leaks in the tubing. I am looking at the connections, but still cannot identify the leak. I even squeezed the tubing a bit to push the liquid to the connections where the leak may have been but do not see liquid coming out.

So if it is on the block, I should just try to tighten the connections?

The top hose coming out of the cpu has a lot of air. I'd say that is were the leak is. The flow direction and the bend of the hose is keeping air next to were its coming in, the cpu. The hoses connecting the gpu show a little air that probably came from the cpu which is lower. If the gpus were the source , the cpu hoses would have no air at all.
As DST4ME says, you have to find the leak. Squeezing the hoses does nothing since there is so much air in the system and air compresses. If you don't want to turn on the system (which I wouldn't), only turn on the pump. (Others with more knowledge will post how to do that, I don't) Another way is to remove the uppermost hose and pressurize by gently blowing into it. Good luck.

BTW. only finger tight the fittings. The o-rings get all bent out of shape when you over tighten. Sometimes loosening and re-tighten fixes leaks.
