What screen resolution are you using for this rig, and what is your primary use? What is your budget?

You have made some questionable choices, we may be able to help you out some.

Thanks, guys, for the comments.  Computer already being built, and I'm very happy with it.  Particularly pleased with the Mobo, as it meets my requirements for future expandability and updates.  Appreciate the welcome.  :-)

Oh noes you might get flamed for some of your choices, but heres my input.
The veloci raptor isn't worth the money, the 1tb 32 mb cache hd can do about 90% for like 100 dollars less and for your gpu choice was kind of questionable, You always want to stick with a single card solution like going with just one 480 insted of two 470's Wow

Thanks for the comment.  Might want to review this:

Velociraptor will be great for my OS, some other apps with the 1 T WD Black for data

See the issue is it just won't be. A VelociRaptor is quite literately only 10% faster than a decent 7200RPM 1TB HDD like say the Black Caviar. Complete and total waste of money.

If you want fast just get a small SSD for OS/apps. An Intel SSD has 80-100 times faster small file read/write performance and at least twice the sequential (large) file read performance of any conventional HDD available.

You can get a 40GB Intel SSD for $138 or a 80GB Intel SSD for $265 from DS. Then just use a normal 1TB HDD for games/movies/music/pictures. This setup offers much much more performance for the money than a VelociRaptor.
