So I just got my Vanquish 4 level 1 yesterday and I can't open the NVDIA control panel. When I try it says, "NVIDIA Display settings are not available, you are not currently using a monitor attached to an NVIDIA gpu" I think it's using the intel graphics card for games because i'm getting low fps too. I also upgraded the graphics card to a GTx 1060 6GB at purchase if that matters.

Sounds like you're plugging your monitor into the motherboard, near the USB and audio, and not the graphics card. That's the Intel integrated graphics. Not what you want.

The graphics card is lower, and might have plastic caps over the hdmi, dvi and DP connections.

Let us know.

Wow I feel really dumb now the manual said not to do that lol. I just ordered an adapter hopefully everything will work when I get it. Thanks so much for your quick response!

My pleasure.

It's a fairly common question, so not a problem.

What connection does your monitor have ?   If it's a blue vga, then you'll need an adapter.   If it's hdmi, dvi then the card should have one.

Look in the accessories you might have been sent. A lot of times a vga adapter is included.

Good luck.

My monitor has a dvi and blue vga. I didn't get an adapter in my accessories box. So all I need is a dvi cable right?

Yes. Surprised your monitor didn't come with the cable, but I guess they all don't.
