Anyone here have an EVGA ACX 3.0 card? They are offering an upgrade for $99 per card, which I'm kind of tempted to do. I know the problems with the ACX models have been rare, but, hey, peace of mind.

Just in case anyone cares, I'm going to jump on board for it. Even though I have the massive 900D case with plenty of airflow, and I upgraded the video card BIOS (no thermal pad mod however) I'll feel better with the upgraded cooling of the iCX and additional thermal monitoring.

Keep us posted on how it goes and if you notice thermal changes. That case is big.

I will, the temps sit at 60 as it is, but I've not overclocked yet. I plan on overclocking when I get the new cards.

I never looked into their new icx cooling until your post.    Thanks for the info and follow up.    I would be very tempted to do what you did and pay for the updated card.

Yeah some reviews see a 3° drop in temps on the GPU. But what's even cooler is the temp sensors all over the card, even by the MOSFETs.
