I bought a Vanquish lvl 4 desktop sometime around 2013. My question is, if I bought a new 1070/1080, would it be compatible with my current specs and would I need to upgrade anything else for it work well? My goal is to make my current setup work with VR. Since my GPU is a GTX770, it won't work with VR. Will all I need to do is upgrade the GPU for my computer to run VR smoothly? Thanks

- Core i5 4670K OC'd to 4.2ghz
- GTX 770 2gb
- 8gb Corsair Vengeance RAM
- 120gb Corsair SSD
- 1tb HDD
- Corsair Liquid Cooling
- Corsair 600W CX
- Asus Z87-C
- 27" Asus VX279 Monitor

Upgrade to the new Pascal gtx 1070/1080 should work just fine.   Nothing your system can't handle.

Just for clarification, the OP's rig would be a Vanquish 1 level 4. Vanquish 2 was not OC'd nor liquid cooled.
