What's the difference between Vanquish 5 and Apolllo?
I compared both and they appear to be the same to me but i'm not sure if i'm noticing things. Not sure which to go for. Need a rig that is great for a lot of gaming, recording game play, editing videos and streaming. Would like to be able to upgrade parts. Budget of $2600. |

Firstly, welcome to DS.
The Vanquish is (mostly) pre-built, very capable system, built around some parts that can not be customized. The Apollo system has much more leeway in customization and expandability to my knowledge. Both systems are capable of being upgraded... The tech savvy gurus will be along shortly to mention the finer points that I have missed. |

Just to add what Snaike said, the Apollo is probably $200-300 more than the Vanquish for the same performance, like graphics card, drives, because those boxes allow you many more options, like motherboard, CPU cooler.
For some the added expensive for the same gaming performance isn't worth it but for others it is. They like the Apollo case better, like to choose a different motherboard, want a better CPU cooler or better, longer warranty power supply. |
