You didn't mention the monitor resolution, which determines the video card you need, but for a typical 1920x1080, the Slade level 2 will do it. Its gtx 1070 will give excellent performance. If your budget was a little higher I would suggest going with the other 750watt power supply and changing the SSD to the Samsung EVO, but what DS gives you is very good.
The level 3 with its 6 core 6800 and x99 chipset isn't needed , stick with level 2. You could consider the Vanquish level 3 and save a few hundred bucks for the same performance. Up to you. Maybe the quietness and looks of the Slade is what you want. Hope this helps. |

yes for now 1920X1080 is what I have.i was thinking about a 850 power supply for future upgrades in video cards and such.i do want the quietness and clean look but mostly I'm trying tog et the best I can for my budget

Unless you plan on a sli, 2x video card, setup, then the 750watt is all you need.
But, to be honest, I also would get an 850watt just in case. It is more than you need but I hate scrimping on , arguably, the most important part of a rig. The Corsair 600Q is a clean, nice looking case. I personally like a little light show, but that's me. |
