Well done DS team! Looks awesome!
Alex, can you give us some insight into the specs for the systems pictured? The last picture looks like it has different tubing from the top two. Also, with the triple intake, does that mean it's better off for air cooling vs. water cooling? Edit: Found the acrylic piping option in the configurator, I understand the difference in tubing now. Still curious about if this is case is a solid one for air-cooling a system instead of LC.

Eggy, this case is perfect for either scenario. The design allows us to mount multiple radiators with easy intake/outake.
The open design also makes it one of the best for air-cooling. |

A question is bound to come up about dust filters, especially for the front triple fans. Any filters and if so, how easy are they to remove/clean?
Thanks. I love the airflow setup of this design. |

Currently it does not have any dust filters.
The team wanted to reduce any chances of drop in air pressure. A compressed air can would be best to remove any dust buildup. |

Also, Aventum 2 is showing for it in the configurator. I know it's a recent add and probably a work in progress but just threw it out there.

Thanks, Alex. I'm not big on dust filters myself, just not that effective, but others like them.

If I'd known this was launching today, I'd have asked Walter for a look at one when I was at headquarters this morning.

When I opened the "Buy" page, the product name is Aventum II.
Specs looks OK - just the wrong label on the top page. Popi |

If you look closely you will notice the PSU is mounted upside down. Anyone want to try and guess why?

I'll guess to force the heat from the PSU out the bottom instead of into the case.

Because on the 1200i the fan is mounted on the top, thus putting the PSU upside down would force the air out the bottom of the case rather then what it would do originally(pushing air into the case). |

Sooooo close, imho. The psu fan is an intake fan, drawing cool , fresh air from the bottom, open chamber and pushing it through the psu and exhausting the heat out the back.
