My x17 laptop came with something on the desktop called Keepsafe i can't access it, move it, delete it, do anything to it or even activate it what is this? Alex? Anyone?

It's a feature for your finger scanner. It allows you to save data into a private file storage area. Try swiping your finger on the finger scanner to see if that does anything? It's located right above your track pad.
