I know my software pretty well, but I'm not that great when comes to hardware tech. This is my configuration based on my needs and without having too much gingerbread items that would not benefit my playstyle for a system. Any changes or feedback will be appreciated.

Budget:
At least under $3,000

Expectations:
Top game performance for FPS titles, but mostly RPG, RTS, and online MMO gameplay. Can view stream videos online and provide decent performance for Blu-Ray playback.

FYI - I'm not a competitive FPS player, I play casually. So getting a system decked out for max performance to give me an edge against other players is not needed. If I can have decent hardware to run Ultra graphic settings at 60fps and above without any hardware issues that impacts my gameplay experience, then I'm happy.

I plain to upgrade my current 1080p monitors with 4k monitors down the road later this year or early next when the price comes down.

Also, I may get another card for SLI, but not so sure based on benchmark reviews. I currently have two GTX 670 cards in SLI. Is it a must to have SLI 900 series cards or can you get great performance with only one card? Again, I play FPS titles casually; mostly play RTS and MMO games. If this is going to be a overkill for such titles, then I don't want to throw in extra money when I'm not going to take full advantage of it.

Usage:
Mostly gaming and Blu-Ray movie playing. For gaming I mainly play RTS and RPG titles, and some FPS titles. I do play graphic heavy games like Cyrsis sometimes, but only for the single-player experience and not multiplayer. My multiplayer experience for FPS titles is usually games like Battlefield.

A single GTX 970 would be fine for 1080p gaming with those games.

If you're going to go to a 4K monitor, you'll probably need to go to an SLI configuration.

BTW, Battlefield 4 will play better with AMD cards as it was optimized with AMDs Mantle low-level API. AMD is probably going to release in the next couple of months or so the R9 300 cards that are probably going to set new levels for GPU performance, according to the rumors.
