The technology is still in its infancy, but I hope it will be offered sometime in the next year or two. Asetek has made a pretty darn good setup already.

Any thoughts on this guys?

(Oh yeah, for some reason I couldn't post this in the Industry News section because of Invalid Privileges. What's up with that?)

You need to have 1k posts (or maybe 100 something around there) to post in industry news.
And man 4.4 overclock is pretty nice, even for desktop its decent. But that said it fits in a laptop but at what cost. I mean it took up a decent bit of room in the video, so smaller mobo? and hard drive? I don't know much about laptops but it seems like it takes up a bunch more room than heat pipes, that said this is probably smaller than a (good) cooling system using fans (which most laptops don't even have).

I'm just thinking of how much of pain it would be if you get a leak in that thing...
I remember hearing someone complaining about their Desktop Liquid Cooling system having a leak / crack upon arrival probably the cost of some FedEx driver...

Either way its nice to know that liquid cooling may become an option in laptops in the near future for a pretty penny of course!

Crazy!

Also, yes, in order to post in the Industry News section, it's limited to users with 1,000+ posts. If you would like to make posts in their on a frequent basis, we can definitely make an exception for individual forum members.

Thanks for the heads up Alex. Don't think I'll need any special permissions or anything though. Big%20Smile
