Liquid cooling temperature sensitive in shipping?

Hey, I recently purchased a new rig through Digital Storm with the H20: Stage 2: Digital Storm Vortex 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler (Fully Sealed + No Maintenance). I noticed that the night before my delivery, the temperature is supposed to dive down to around 21F. This may be a silly question, but I guess my concern is that, if it's sitting out in a truck throughout the night, will this cause problems?

Not sure ask DS what is the lowest temp it can handle.

Alcohol in the coolant lowers the freezing temp, but not sure at what temp it would freeze.    Never heard of one freezing but DS might know like DST said.

Wow. Crazy Something else to worry about with shipping in winter. Not being a problem that has been aired here in the past, to my knowledge, I would not worry.  Asking DS what is the composition of the coolant used in their sealed coolers will help allay those fears.  Big%20Smile

Thanks for the replys. I put in a ticket just this morning and I'll see what they say. I imagine it will be fine with the alcohol, but you spend a good chuck of change and you get antsy about such things.

You should be fine, the freezing temperature is lower, however, we do suggest customers that receive a system in which they feel temperatures were below freezing, that they wait a few hours until the system gets back to room temperature.

Thanks for the info! My system gets delivered today and it is only around 6 degrees at the moment. I'll let it come up to room temperature before I boot it up
