If you are going to go for the HydroLux Pro, get the GPU cooled as well. GPU cooling keeps it from throttling back performance, as there is no heat soak with the cooler, and maintains a high performance over extended use (like long gaming sessions).
If you want a system with minimal maintenance and easy component swapping, then go for the Corsair cooler. It won't have quite as high performance, but it will be close. Just make sure your caase can breathe easily to keep a good supply of air to the GPU. Also, drop the sound card. It does pretty much zero, as on-board audio is pretty damn good these days. Your money is better spent on amplification and speakers than the DAC. If you want the absolute best in audio, do an HDMI pass-through to an audio receiver. |

honestly, unless you need something right now, if you're seriously considering 4k gaming wait for both the new 4k monitors with dp 1.3/1.4 standard and for Big Pascal (Titan or Ti cards). the 2017 4k monitors will be able to hit 120Hz and the Big pascal cards will be able to handle 4k w/o needing sli or compromising settings.

Ticket Number: 1448010 For 1080 that is good for 4k you will want to go sli, for 1440p you should be ok but may need to go sli for some games possibly. I dropped your cpu cooling to the lite version but if you want to go pro go ahead, tho its not needed. Get your monitor and etc from other places the price should be better. I think they were referring to an introduction...I'm guess intro'd in late August and released in Sept. 1080 Ti in Dec-Feb time frame.
