Hello all. I have been considering purchasing a closed loop cooler for my GTX 1080 FE. I just have no clue how to install or if I even have enough room in my case. I will upload a picture to imgur and leave the link. Thanks http://xphant0mx.imgur.com/all/

Can't see your images though.

So the (very) general rule of thumb is 120mm radiator space per waterblock. So depending on the route you're going, odds are you can fit something like an H80 AIO cooler in there from corsair, as long as you buy the brackets/kit that fits your card in order to be able too.

Unless you're running some very slim case or something, I'd be willing to bet it can be done, with semi-ease.

You have to take apart the gpu, remove the fan shroud with fans and install a water block. Never have done it so cannot provide any steps therefor but some others here most probably have and should offer advise.  I'm also sure there must be a video posted on how to do it that I would watch before tackling in case it looks more complicated than what I want to do. Good luck.

@Phant0m,

As hoserator said there are videos out there but this ~1 hour video will give you a general idea on what you are looking it. Also, this video is for the EVGA 1080 kit and others make LC kits for your GPU also.

i would go with a full cover block/unit for that card.  which means you're probably going to have to look at a more expensive unit then the sealed AIO units offered by Corsair (which only cool the processor, not the entire board).  look at Swiftech and EKWB for a config that includes a full cover water block+AIO reservoir/pump combo.  either that or find some other way to get direct air cooling coverage to the rest of the components that get very hot on the board.
