What cooling option did you get. Some require maintenance others are closed. If it is an open loop system, ask DS what cooling fluid they used and order it so you have it and get a gallon or two of distilled water for the flushing. There are many views as to how often you have to drain, flush and refill but simply put, to drain you have to open the loop at the lowest point and open the reservoir fill hole so that the fluid can drain out. Others are more knowledgeable about the little details and can help once we know your cooling option.

Looks like he has the new Swiftech cooler judging from his past posts, it's maintenance free for 3 years unless you had stuff added to the loop. Now if you had stuff added to the loop such as the graphics card then you would possibly need to top it off every now and then.
But horserator covered the flushing and stuff Edited by ArkansasWoman777 - 05 Nov 2016 at 5:21am |

With the Swiftech, LITE, cooling system it might be easier to remove the unit from the rig, rad/pump, CPU block and graphics card and do the maintenance. It is more "portable" than a full water, PRO, system, but I have never worked on one, so others that have might have better hands-on. Plus the refill port is on the side.

Yep, that's the LITE Arkansas and I were referring to. It's the Swiftech H220x family if you want to Google it.

You won't need to do any maintenance for at least 2-3 years on that system. If the fluid drops to less than half, please contact our team and we can help you with adding more fluid.

Hi Petstyle,
You also have to keep the radiator clean from dust or the performance will suffer. You may be doing that but wanted to make sure. Frank |
